Dr. Marc Bauman graduated from Five Towns College on Long Island, where he received a bachelor’s degree in music business and audio recording technology. Shortly thereafter, he opened a professional audio recording and mixing studio, which just so happened to be located on the second floor of his father’s dental practice. Between recording sessions, he would often visit his father downstairs, casually observing how he practiced dentistry. This curiosity led to a newfound passion for the sciences and Dr. Bauman decided to transition to a new career in Dentistry. He completed a post-baccalaureate program in the health sciences at Farmingdale State College and then went on to enroll at the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine, where he honed his clinical skills and minored in Periodontology. Upon completion of dental school, Dr. Bauman fulfilled a General Practice Residency at Queens Hospital Center in Jamaica, Queens. He is now a member of the Suffolk County Dental Society, the American Dental Association and the New York State Dental Association.
Dr. Bauman is enthusiastic about life and is very grateful to be a part of the team at Emerald Family Dental. When he is not at the office, you can find him at the rock climbing gym, playing his drums, hiking, relaxing on the beach, going to concerts, discovering new restaurants and spending time with his family and friends. Dr. Bauman is passionate about dentistry and sensitive to his patients’ needs. But above all, he strives for nothing but the best, and this shows through his professionalism and all of his endeavors.
